What is City Sonic?
City Sonic (Toronto) is a cross-platform documentary series about the places where music happens. Uniquely crafted by some of Canada's top filmmakers, each short film features one artist and one Toronto location where lives and musical careers were transformed. City Sonic delivers these great stories straight into the hands of today's music fans wherever you are and whenever you want them: on mobile, online, and on television.
City Sonic creates a new level of engagement with the city's music scene through location-based storytelling, related content on music artists and storied city venues, and - coming soon - gaming features built around the iPhone's GPS and mapping functionality.
About the City Sonic Team
City Sonic is being produced by White Pine Pictures and Kensington Communications, two production companies with long histories in documentary and drama. Behind those names are a lot of people, and a lot of music fans.
